Socky

Sock Monkeys have been around since the late 1800's.  During the Depression Sock Monkeys were at height of their popularity.  In 1920, a Sock Monkey was constructed out of a pair of Rockford Red Heel Socks and sent to the company, Nelson Knitting Mills.  The company thought it was a genius idea and Nelson started including Sock Monkey instructions with every pair of Rockford Red Heel Socks they sold.  Socky by Whistler Studios is a lighthearted collection that pays tribute to that original sock monkey design. It is filled with patterns of adorable sock monkeys, tossed bananas and assorted polka dot and striped basics. Socky is the ideal collection for both young and old. Have fun with this playful collection and make something that will be passed to future generations of sock monkey lovers.
