Jefferson County

Circa late 1800, "Jefferson County" is a carefully orchestrated collection of late 1800's cotton patterns made for the NEW 18th Century Quilter.  The name Jefferson County was chosen because my shop, the Country Sampler, is located on historic Jefferson Street.  Jeanne has always embraced the American quilt making traditions and strived to be a leader and innovator of the 18th century style as did Thomas Jefferson. He was one of our country's greatest innovators of liberty and justice for all so the name Jefferson County seemed fitting.
